Mary & Justin were married at Lakeshore Manor Event Facility in High Falls, GA on April 23rd.  We had just the most beautiful day to work with!  I started out at the salon before we headed to the facility which was great.  Mary is a hairstylist so it was fun watching her on the other side of the chair (I know exactly how that feels because I feel the same way when I'm on the other side of a camera! lol)   I just LOVED Mary's headpiece that she had custom made for her big day!  It fit in perfectly with her vintage theme.  Both Justin & Mary (and their adorable kids!) were all smiles all day long and so great to work with.  They all really made my job so easy!  Such a photogenic bunch!  I loved both of the special "first looks" with Mary and her son and with her father.  The sweet surprises that Justin and Mary had for each other were also so special to photograph.  Justin is a Firefighter so there were a lot of neat Firefighter touches to the event in the grooms cake, cake knives, toasting glasses & garter to name a few.  Shooting Wedding details is one of my favorite things and there were so many little details to this event that made it just extra special and unique.  I could tell that a lot of thought and planning was put into this day by everyone.  Thank you guys so much for trusting me with these memories for you!  I told my husband after we left your viewing appointment that this is one of the reasons why I love photography so much!  To be able to provide images that you can relive your day through.  Everything you said at our appointment just reminded me of how lucky I am to have my dream job!  I'm so glad that you both love the images as much as I do.  I really enjoyed working with your family and hope to photograph you guys again in the future.  Blessings to you both!

Mary surprised Justin during the reception with a restored Firefighters helmet that she had been holding on to in secret for 6 months!  I don't know how she kept it a secret but it was so special.  You can see the excitement on their faces...
